about me

My name is Emma, I’m 29, a veterinary surgeon, and from the UK. Over the past few years my love of travelling has taken me to over 30 countries, introduced me to the amazing world of scuba diving, led me to some beautiful sights and intense experiences, bought me countless new friends around the world, and has now become somewhat the focus of my life! In January 2012 I leave the UK on a one-way ticket, aiming to explore some new (to me!) countries and cultures, to spend time focusing on developing myself as a diver, to spend time working on veterinary projects in different countries, and ultimately to hopefully work out where I want to be in the world, both physically and metaphorically!

On this blog I will write updates of my travel, diving and vetting experiences, and general travel-inspired musings on life, for friends and family to keep up with me, and for anyone else who is interested. I hope to also include short articles and tips for travel inspiration and sharing travel resources with others, as and when ideas occur to me!
